Book Conditions:
We are primarily a secondhand bookstore, and so our stock conditions vary considerably.
All books are individually priced based firstly and primarily on book condition. After this, book rarity, publication type, number run, genre and other factors contribute to the pricing.
Basically the better the condition of the book, the more expensive it is.
The most common reasons for book degradation are;
General Wear and Tear; Blemishes, Marks, Creases, Small Tears, Old partially removed stickers etc..
U.V Staining (Yellowing); It is common for sunlight to stain the outside page edges of books. This is known as U.V Staining and it is from light only, not any other source.
These are the 2 main considerations when a book is priced based on a degraded physical condition.
Other considerstions for pricing a book may include; Book Rarity, Limited Publishing Run, Signed Copy etc..
Please note; the images of books are a generic stock image only, and do not nessarsarily reflect the condition of the book available for purchase. We do not sell broken books, and do our best to guarantee that all stock is appropriately priced to it's standard of condition.
Our book conditions and prices are determined by the following;
